Berry Guide

All 6 berries · Locations · Farming tips

Berries are a versatile resource in Pokemon Pokopia with multiple uses: crafting paint, making offerings to Mossy Snorlax, cooking recipes, and restoring PP for your Pokemon. There are 6 different berries scattered across the regions, and once you find them you can farm them indefinitely using the 3D Printer.

All Berry Locations

Lum Berry

Rocky Ridges

Found beyond Gimmighoul's Manor in the lava area. Navigate past the manor and look near the volcanic terrain.

Pecha Berry

Rocky Ridges

Located on a side path near the Lava Lake. You need the upgraded Cut ability (from Scyther or similar) to clear the obstacle blocking access.

Aspear Berry

Bleak Beach

Hidden inside a Poke Ball near the waterfall at Bleak Beach. Look for the item pickup near the cascading water.

Chesto Berry

Bleak Beach

Found near where Smeargle hangs out at Bleak Beach. Check the area around the artist Pokemon's usual spot.

Rawst Berry

Sparkling Skylands

On the upper-left island of Sparkling Skylands. Drop into the hole covered with vines to find it below.

Leppa Berry

Various

Grows naturally on berry trees throughout the world. The easiest berry to obtain without any special requirements.

Berry Farming

Once you have a berry tree, you can duplicate it using the 3D Printer at the Pokemon Center (unlocked at Environment Level 3). Photograph the berry tree, then print copies using 1 Rare Pokemetal per tree.

Berry trees produce fruit on a timer: 1 berry per hour, up to a maximum of 3 berries per tree. You can advance time by resting or using the in-game clock to speed things up. Place multiple trees together for a dedicated berry orchard.

Berry Uses

  • Paint - Give berries to a Pokemon with the Crush specialty to produce paint. Different berry colors yield different paint colors.
  • Mossy Snorlax offerings - Berries are one of the items you can offer to the Mossy Snorlax statues for regional bonuses.
  • Cooking ingredient - Several recipes at cooking stations call for berries. Check the Cooking Guide for specific recipes.
  • PP recovery - Berries restore a Pokemon's PP (specialty energy) so they can keep working. Handy during long building sessions.

Tips

  • Prioritize getting Scyther early for the upgraded Chop/Cut needed to reach the Pecha Berry.
  • Berry trees placed in houses still produce fruit - use indoor space efficiently.
  • You cannot copy raw berries (fruit) with the 3D Printer, only the trees themselves.
  • Check Onix and other Crush-specialty Pokemon for paint production.
